On 23 August Agroliga group harvested 4 180 tons of crops. Crops planted on a total of 1,635 hectares are harvested. Because of bad weather conditions the average gross yield of wheat lowered comparing to 2009 year from 4,37 to 2,60 tons per ha, barley – from 3,61 to 2,48 tons per ha.
Nevertheless, because за the heat wave, most of the harvested wheat has better grade that expected and could be sold on the higher price. In addition, due the low harvest, this year crop average prices already raised at 57% from planned, that compensate lowering its volumes.
According forecasts, corn and sunflower, that are harvesting now, are expected to have much less negative impact from the heat of this summer.
As the results of new technology process implementation, we managed to reduce summer maintenance period of Agroliga’s oil mill more that trice, and now it’s already started to process the sunflower of this year harvest. |
